Tj's coffee corner truly touched our hearts.
We were told about this special spot by our friends Trevor and Carolyn and we’re so glad we followed their recommendation. Tucked inside a bike shop in Mooloolaba, this café isn’t just about coffee, it’s about connection, memory, and love.
Larnie, the warm and wonderful woman behind it all, created the café in honour of her late father. He used to own a bike shop and was known for making coffee for his customers just because he cared. Now, Larnie carries on his beautiful legacy, keeping his spirit alive in the place they both loved.
You can feel her heart in everything she does from the way she smiles, to her excellent coffee, to the homemade treats she bakes with love. There’s a real sense of soul here.
We took our coffees down to the beach and watched the sunrise over Mooloolaba, and it honestly felt like the perfect start to the day. A moment of calm, beauty, and connection with each other, with the morning, and with the story behind the cup in our hands. I am feeling sentimental this morning.
